Zone (K-6th)
Zone is the name we use to describe the Sunday morning ministry for children K-6th and is formed from an acronym of what we want to do in kids' lives: build a ZEAL for God, build ONENESS through relationships, be NURTURED with the TRUTH and be challenged to EXPRESS to love of Christ to others.
Children begin the morning with their family in the morning worship service in the sanctuary. They are dismissed as a group shortly before the sermon and are escorted downstairs where they have a large group session that reinforces the lesson being focused on that month. During the Sunday school hour each class rotates to a different hands-on workshop each week of the month where the lesson of the month is taught in a variety of styles including art, science, drama, games, food, music, etc. Each child will find the workshops very interesting and thought provoking.
